Risk & Control Consultant – Cyber, KRI Alignment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Evaluate existing cyber controls in relation to established frameworks (e.g. NIST) and organizational standards.

• Detect discrepancies between internal controls and external benchmark requirements (e.g. Tier 1 Bank aligned Key Risk Indicators).

• Outline and execute control enhancements to address the identified discrepancies.

• Monitor and assess performance against Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).

• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to synchronize on risk posture and remediation priorities.

• Promote the adoption of new control frameworks throughout the organization.

• Maintain robust documentation, governance, and readiness for audits.

• Assist in the automation of controls and reporting wherever feasible.

• Provide scalable and sustainable enhancements to controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Cyber risk, governance, and control frameworks.

• Experience in aligning controls with NIST or equivalent frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability in gap analysis and delivering remediation.

• Familiarity with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and risk measurement methodologies.

• Strong engagement skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience in governance, documentation, and audit processes.
