Risk Analyst, Underwriter – Agricultural Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Evaluate risks to decide on the acceptance, modification, or rejection of insurance proposals

• Confirm eligibility requirements from various viewpoints (farm operations, buildings, machinery, practices, etc.)

• Examine prevention reports and integrate recommendations into your evaluations

• Issue requests for modifications and oversee renewals

• Address inquiries from representatives and deliver top-notch advisory support

• Suggest solutions, options, or alternatives that facilitate risk acceptance while safeguarding portfolio profitability

• Work closely with internal partners, ensuring smooth and proactive communication

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in commercial insurance and/or agricultural insurance

• Outstanding analytical judgment and a robust problem-solving orientation

• Ability to articulate and defend your decisions clearly and persuasively

• Comfortable collaborating within a team and fostering effective communication

• DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Insurance Consulting and Financial Services, AEC (Attestation of College Studies) in Property and Casualty Insurance, or other pertinent experience

• PAA (Certified Insurance Professional) — a significant advantage
