This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Evaluate intake requests to verify the completeness and accuracy of client and matter details.
• Perform internal and external conflict checks, including analysis through Dentons' conflicts database and other external resources.
• Examine corporate structures and management profiles to assist in conflict and AML analysis.
• Recognize and escalate potential legal, commercial, sanctions, or reputational conflicts in accordance with firm policies.
• Collaborate with Global Dentons offices to secure conflict clearances.
• Aid in AML refresh processes for current clients and oversee high-risk clients based on a risk-based approach.
• Support the review of engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and confidentiality agreements.
• Keep accurate records and ensure data is entered and managed following firm policies.
• Identify and address issues related to confidential information, implementing information barriers and document security measures.
• Work with other Analysts and team members to meet deadlines, address time-sensitive issues, and tackle various challenges.
• A Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in a legal field).
• Proficiency in English (C1 or higher) is necessary for international communication.
• Previous experience with conflicts analysis and confidentiality matters in an international law firm is preferred.
• Capability to understand the commercial implications arising from the advice provided by a global law firm.
• A systematic and organized approach to work, along with strong prioritization skills, enabling efficient performance under pressure and meeting deadlines consistently.
• Ability to make decisions and remain composed under pressure, especially in challenging situations.
• Familiarity with Intapp Open or similar intake/conflict systems is advantageous.
• Exceptional analytical, research, and communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Organized and methodical approach with the capability to prioritize and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong client service orientation, professionalism, and capacity to work in a global, multicultural environment.
