Risk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Evaluate credit and fraud risk performance across various customer segments and products

• Create and enhance risk strategies aimed at increasing approval rates while minimizing losses

• Track essential risk indicators and portfolio trends; provide insights to leadership

• Assist in the design and implementation of new risk models and policies

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to facilitate launches in new markets and sectors

• Promote automation and efficiency in risk operations and reporting processes

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, oversee portfolio performance, and aid in decision-making that balances growth with risk

• Partner with data, product, finance, and commercial teams to maintain healthy portfolio metrics across diverse markets

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in credit risk, fraud analytics, or a similar data-driven position

• Excellent analytical abilities

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or comparable tools

• Knowledge of consumer lending, BNPL, or fintech risk models

• Capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth setting

• Effective communication skills with a business-oriented approach
