Risk Advisory Services Principal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide leadership, management, and strategic guidance with a primary focus on delivering an outstanding client service experience.

• Convert the firm's vision and strategy into a practical and actionable business plan.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales and marketing initiatives.

• Organize firm resources to guarantee that clients receive the highest quality products and services.

• Ensure that team members are given meaningful training and development opportunities.

• Supervise the profitability of the practice.

• Work closely with client executives and management teams to gain insights into their businesses.

• Think independently and strategically regarding your clients’ business, systems, and risks.

• Provide strategic business guidance to clients.

• Evaluate, manage, and enhance business risks across a broad spectrum of areas.

• Review clients' processes and controls in relation to industry standards.

• Be accountable for significant new business development initiatives.

• Produce detailed executive summaries and final reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or a related field.

• CPA or CIA designation(s) are mandatory.

• A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in risk advisory, internal/external audit, business process reengineering, and/or internal controls.

• At least seven (7) years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.

• Proven success in building and expanding a Risk Advisory practice.

• Demonstrated history of new business development.

• Capability to lead and supervise others effectively.

• Willingness to travel as necessary for client engagements.
