
Risk Advisor – Commercial Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Take the lead in risk management by utilizing our client Risk Assessment Platform to assist sports organizations in understanding their risks and developing a safety program.
• Identify, source, and cultivate new relationships with sports organizations within the youth and amateur sports sector.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the youth sports landscape and the changing risk environment.
• Manage the entire sales cycle, including outreach, discovery, risk assessment, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Provide education to clients on insurance, risk management, and athlete safety practices.
• Enhance renewals and retention through regular engagement with clients.
• Precisely document all prospect and client interactions in internal systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales with a proven history of expanding a book of business, or over 5 years of sales experience with similar accomplishments.
• Valid Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license in good standing.
• Solid understanding of General Liability (GL) lines and commercial insurance products.
• Proficiency in agency CRM/AMS systems (Applied Epic preferred) or equivalent sales and customer management tools.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills along with a strong interpersonal presence and negotiation capabilities.
• Proven resilience and adaptability, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization to be employed in the United States.
