This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Address and resolve challenges within accounts through customized solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to enhance product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to meet customer needs and provide access support.
• Examine market, competitive, territory, and cross-functional insights to foresee opportunities and obstacles.
• Leverage territory data and market trends to reveal local insights and facilitate pull-through efforts.
• Conduct impactful customer engagements both virtually and in person.
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to address complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support and partner with Patient Specialty Services.
• Utilize digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach efforts.
• Establish relationships with accounts and Health Care Providers as the main point of contact.
• Balance demand generation with strategic account engagement to enhance patient outcomes.
• A bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited 4-year college or university.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams, or in comparably complex sales environments.
• For the Territory Account Specialist level, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or a similar complex sales role within the past 5 years is necessary.
• For the Senior Territory Account Specialist level, at least 5 years of relevant experience within the last 5 years is required.
• The Executive Territory Account Specialist level mandates 10+ years of relevant experience within the last 5 years.
• The Associate level may accept limited previous sales experience or qualifying military leadership experience with 4+ years of military service.
• A proven track record of consistent high performance is essential.
• Experience in selling to and managing large accounts and key customers is required.
• Strong analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and apply relevant information to resolve customer issues.
• Ethical leadership capabilities and the ability to promote ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and laws.
• Candidates must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a broad geography is necessary.
• Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory is required.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is necessary.
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills in a matrix environment are essential.
• Ability to effectively communicate clinical product information is required.
• Desirable: experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategies, and new product launches.
• Desirable: understanding of patient services, market access, buy and bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and medical interactions with HCPs.
