This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Engage with Rheumatology customers within the designated geographical area, delivering a clinically focused message aimed at introducing, launching, and expanding brand share and revenue, while consistently achieving product goals.
• Implement strategies and tactics within accounts in the Rheumatology therapeutic area to boost product utilization.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with Rheumatology experts and other specialists in the assigned territory, as well as with nurses, office staff, and other key healthcare personnel and patient advocacy groups as directed.
• Collaborate with other Rheumatology cross-functional team members, particularly overlapping Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs), to ensure the success of accounts.
• Deliver presentations and communicate clinical information proficiently to healthcare professionals, including institutional physicians in major academic centers and hospitals or large group practices, in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
• Exhibit deep knowledge of the marketplace, therapeutic area, product, and disease, grounded in a thorough understanding of scientific principles and data, including mechanisms of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc.
• Provide essential market insights and field feedback to the home office.
• Coordinate and communicate with both field-based and home office teams to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends, developing strategies that support brand and corporate objectives within the assigned territory.
• Participate in and help lead initiatives to support sales success as assigned (e.g., taking part in industry-related congresses, local and regional meetings).
• Deliver site-level in-service training as required by accounts, incorporating activities in person, digitally, or virtually based on account needs.
• Plan, organize, and sponsor local promotional speaker programs and activities.
• Effectively implement both short-term and long-term strategic plans.
• Optimize the budget allocated to the assigned geographic territory to support the execution of strategies and tactics designed to generate and increase business.
• Drive results by identifying key opportunities and devising strategic plans to enhance and expand territory business.
• Manage business opportunities within the designated geographic area, including coordination and outreach to large group practices, IDNs, and other key targets to drive overall product performance.
• Establish relationships with key leaders in the assigned territory.
• The primary goal is to drive industry-leading customer value.
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing Sanofi US programs and brand-specific strategies within the assigned geography.
• Allocate resources according to business opportunities.
• Train and effectively launch Kevzara for the polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR) indication as part of the Kevzara sales team.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
• At least 2 years of Rheumatology sales experience is preferred.
• Proven track record of performance in physician/customer-facing and strategic roles.
• Experience with pull-through and total office call.
• Launch experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Strong communication and change agility skills.
• Excellent business acumen and project management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across the nation, including trips to the home office and meetings/conventions as required.
• Candidates must complete all fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record concerning accidents and incidents.
