Rheumatology Institutional Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Accountable for ensuring effective access pull-through in key hospitals associated with the rheumatology brand portfolio.

• Drive demand by developing, coordinating, and implementing a strategic business plan for prioritized hospitals within assigned rheumatology academic and governmental institutions.

• Partner with local stakeholders to create and maintain strategically focused business plans tailored to specific institutions.

• Present product information and disease states, sharing approved clinical data with physicians and their teams.

• Build essential business relationships within the hospital, engaging with critical clinicians, administrative personnel, and influential decision-makers.

• Organize and facilitate cross-functional Area Team Meetings (ATMs) for designated hospital accounts.

• Continuously assess key customer needs to provide customized insights and work collaboratively on deploying new strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited four-year college or university.

• Over 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similar sectors with extensive, geographically dispersed sales teams.

• More than 2 years in hospital sales or a comparable sales position managing complex accounts (including major academic centers) within the last 5 years.

• Strong understanding of the community with a proven track record of expertise in therapeutic area/product knowledge.

• Solid business background with the capability to collaborate and operate cross-functionally within complex matrix environments.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel 60-80% across a wide geographical area is essential.
