Revenue Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with insurance providers.

• Gather payments from insurance companies regarding outstanding patient balances.

• Investigate and resolve problematic accounts as necessary.

• Optimize collections to meet performance targets.

• Analyze trends and conduct root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid claims.

• Investigate, appeal, and rectify claim rejections, underpayments, and denials with the relevant insurance payer.

• Foster and maintain constructive working relationships with clinical staff, colleagues, and insurance agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to research and solve problems.

• Experience in healthcare and medical billing/collections is preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Proven track record of addressing and resolving challenging issues.
