Revenue Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and nurture relationships with insurance providers.

• Secure payments from insurance companies for outstanding patient balances.

• Investigate and resolve problematic accounts.

• Optimize collections to meet performance goals.

• Address and resolve accounts through phone, email, and insurance carrier portals.

• Analyze trends and conduct root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid claims.

• Investigate, appeal, and resolve claim rejections, underpayments, and denials.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clinical staff, colleagues, and insurance representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

• Proficient in research and problem-solving with analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Experience in healthcare and medical billing/collections.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Proven track record of resolving complex issues.
