Revenue & Receivables Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Designs, executes, and sustains accounting procedures and systems emphasizing accounts receivable, billing, and revenue management.

• Prepares journal entries, reconciles general ledger accounts, and facilitates revenue-related reporting.

• Analyzes and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations pertaining to revenue and receivables.

• Aids in the month-end closing process by preparing reconciliations and analyzing revenue and accounts receivable balances.

• Tracks and prepares reports concerning revenue, billing, and collections performance.

• Maintains precise records of customer transactions, receivables, and associated financial activities.

• Assists in developing and upholding processes to accurately capture, monitor, and report revenue in alignment with company policies.

• Produces revenue and accounts receivable reports for both internal and external stakeholders and may provide interpretations of results for management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 5-8 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting.

• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred).

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and proficient Excel skills.

• Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• This role requires fluent written and verbal communication in English.
