This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess trends in occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), and other essential performance metrics; identify discrepancies against forecasts and suggest corrective measures.
• Create detailed and prompt performance evaluations analyzing past results and the effectiveness of strategies put in place.
• Construct and uphold short-term (weekly) and long-term (monthly, quarterly, annual) revenue forecasts and budgets as stipulated by specific hotel service agreements.
• Oversee transient and group pricing strategies, which include daily rate assessments and updates through RMS/CRS/Pricing Systems, managing lead times, minimum stay criteria, and overbooking controls.
• Evaluate all group business (both tentative and confirmed) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and assess the impact of displacement on room revenue and RevPAR.
• Guarantee uniformity in pricing across all distribution channels (brand CRS, GDS, OTA, direct) and optimize commission expenditures.
• Collaborate with General Managers and Operations Managers on inventory regulation, oversell thresholds, and demand-driven allocation of room types.
• Perform continual competitive set and market analyses, monitoring trends, event calendars, seasonality, and local demand influencers.
• Maintain historical data and demand calendars, encompassing event impacts, promotions, and occupancy spikes, to proactively refine strategies.
• Compile and present revenue management reports and insights for Owners, Corporate Offices, General Managers, and Operations teams.
• Facilitate strategy meetings with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to synchronize pricing, packaging, rate structures, promotions, and upsell strategies.
• Offer training and support to hotel teams, including Reservations and Sales, on revenue management tools, systems, and best practices as necessary.
• When contracted, assist properties with additional operational responsibilities such as managing OTA content, updating brand websites, and responding to online reviews.
• Aid in the development and management of Local Negotiated Rate (LNR) accounts, supporting sales strategies as needed.
• Maintain a calm, professional workspace equipped with reliable high-speed internet for client interactions.
• Operate independently, juggle multiple clients, and consistently provide high-quality service in a remote setting.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in portfolio revenue management is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in on-property hotel operations is necessary.
• Previous experience with branded hotel systems and multi-property portfolios, including IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Hilton, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, is preferred.
• Candidates must be certified in or demonstrate a strong working knowledge of at least two major hotel brand revenue management systems.
• Certifications such as CHRM (Certified Hotel Revenue Manager) or CRME (Certified Revenue Management Executive) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical abilities, including experience in forecasting, yield management, and interpreting PMS/RMS data.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the capability to convert data into actionable strategies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the capacity to handle competing priorities across multiple properties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools like Zoom.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced business environment with the ability to multitask and manage numerous accounts.
• Capability to work independently and consistently deliver high service standards and results.
• Proven ability to manage multiple hotel portfolios while fulfilling client service expectations.
• Limited travel may be necessary (approximately 1–2 trips annually) to participate in company or brand events.
