
Revenue Cycle Specialist II β Physician Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Provides support for billing and collections related to Commercial and Government Insurance Follow-up and Accounts Receivable.
β’ Reviews and submits multi-specialty claims to various third-party payors.
β’ Conducts follow-up activities on accounts and updates patient registration information.
β’ Investigates, analyzes, and resolves complex cases and challenging accounts with minimal guidance.
β’ Acts as a technical resource (subject matter expert) for colleagues.
β’ Efficiently bills, submits appeals, and collects payments pertaining to physician reimbursements.
β’ A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ Must possess the ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.
β’ At least three years of professional experience in physician billing and/or collections is required β experience with CMS1500 is a plus.
β’ Possesses expert knowledge of medical terminology and coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, Modifiers, procedure, bill type, diagnosis, and revenue codes).
β’ Familiarity with MS Office, Web/Vs, Availity, and CS-Link is preferred.
β’ Capability to perform business mathematics.
β’ Successful completion of PRMPT 1 is required.
β’ Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with conflicting demands for time and attention.
