This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee designated payers within the Revenue Cycle Management team.
• Examine claim denials thoroughly.
• Adapt to changing payer requirements efficiently.
• Prioritize and effectively resolve intricate claims.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess operational and denial patterns.
• Spot opportunities to enhance workflows and improve claim results.
• Leverage technical knowledge, critical thinking, teamwork, and data-driven insights to boost revenue cycle performance.
• Offer guidance to offshore team members regarding payer-specific workflows, claim resolution techniques, and operational procedures.
• Support onboarding processes.
• Address workflow inquiries.
• Disseminate best practices and encourage continuous learning within the team.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance, patient relations, or medical claims roles.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, claim processing, appeals, and recoupment processes.
• Thorough understanding of Denial Language and Carrier CARC Codes.
• Expert knowledge of the Life Cycle of a Claim.
• Strong critical thinking skills for assessing complex cases, identifying solutions, and making well-informed decisions.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel, including data formatting, formulas, basic charts, and pivot tables.
• Prior experience in mental health or behavioral health billing and collections is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software, such as AdvancedMD, is preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing various cases, correspondence, and documentation with a keen eye for detail is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience collaborating with or leading offshore teams is preferred.
• Candidates must reside in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii.
