Revenue Cycle Pre-Registration Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +9 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with patients via phone through both inbound and outbound calls while completing the pre-registration process.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards throughout the pre-registration process.

• Educate patients regarding their anticipated out-of-pocket financial obligations.

• Collect financial liabilities in accordance with the guidelines established by the organization.

• Identify and escalate high dollar out-of-pocket accounts that are at risk for non-payment before services are provided.

• Address and resolve discrepancies related to patient demographics and insurance using various system tools.

• Accurately document the outcomes of patient interviews while providing outstanding customer service.

• Adhere to privacy, safety, and security protocols, utilizing equipment and materials appropriately.

• Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a remote call center environment, free from distractions and background noise.

• Consistently showcase exceptional customer service as a key element in all responsibilities undertaken.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in typing skills.

• General understanding of medical terminology.

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English, both orally and in writing.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Preferred: one year of prior scheduling experience in the medical field.
