This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing the Revenue Cycle, acting as a subject matter expert in patient access within an Epic setting.
• Spearhead intricate operational transformation projects for healthcare entities, serving as the primary expert in front-end Revenue Cycle and utilizing Epic to foster sustainable advancements in patient access, financial outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
• Evaluate, redesign, and refine front-end revenue cycle processes, encompassing scheduling, registration, insurance verification, eligibility, prior authorization, financial clearance, and point-of-service collections.
• Discover opportunities to enhance patient access operations, financial results, patient satisfaction, and operational productivity through process and workflow enhancements.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to synchronize operational processes with Epic functionalities and execute sustainable solutions that yield measurable performance gains.
• Direct multi-disciplinary teams to effectively implement extensive, integrated system and operational change initiatives.
• Formulate timelines, project plans, and lead due diligence activities for project evaluations.
• Track progress towards key milestones, provide consistent updates to clients, and exercise discretion in escalating issues to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise the quality of deliverables and manage team performance to guarantee outstanding results.
• Engage in the creation and presentation of proposals for business development efforts.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations or revenue cycle improvement, particularly focusing on front-end patient access functions.
• Proven consulting background in leading operational transformation projects within intricate healthcare organizations using Epic.
• Extensive knowledge of front-end revenue cycle workflows, such as scheduling, registration, insurance verification, eligibility, prior authorization, financial clearance, and point-of-service collections.
• Established capability to evaluate, redesign, and enhance patient access operations to boost access, financial performance, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
• Strong comprehension of the connection between operational workflows, process improvement, and Epic system functionalities to promote sustainable performance results.
• Practical experience in Epic environments, with necessary functional knowledge of Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Grand Central.
• Experience in collaborating with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to implement significant operational and technology-driven transformation projects.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams through complex changes in healthcare operations, including workflow redesign, adoption, and performance enhancement.
• Exceptional project management, facilitation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications preferred.
