Revenue Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist Collas Crill in managing its revenue cycle through billing, debtor management, and associated reporting.

• Oversee billing processes to guarantee precision, adherence to regulations, and prompt conversion of work in progress into cash.

• Address billing and payment inquiries from fee earners and clients.

• Track work in progress, disbursements, debtor ledgers, and outstanding invoices.

• Prepare, review, and dispatch client invoices following agreed terms and billing instructions.

• Ensure adherence to client-specific billing requirements, including e-billing formats and portals.

• Evaluate credit risk and establish credit limits utilizing a credit reference agency.

• Assist the Group Revenue Manager with various ad hoc tasks and projects.

• Contribute to enhancements in billing and collections processes and controls.

• Maintain documentation of debtor communications, collections activities, and invoice statuses.

• Aid in the preparation of aged debtor reports, cash collection forecasts, and revenue reporting.

• Support the implementation of credit control policies and escalation procedures.

• Prior experience in billing, accounts receivable, or credit control.

• Experience in a professional services environment is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

• Well-organized and proactive, with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Capability to foster effective relationships with partners and attorneys.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities.

• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with practice management systems like Elite 3E is advantageous.
