Revenue and JIB Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Process and evaluate Joint Interest Billing (JIB) along with revenue statements.

• Ensure the accuracy of data and maintain well-organized accounting records.

• Assist in the monthly and quarterly accounting closing processes.

• Conduct reconciliations to verify uploaded amounts against source documents.

• Detect discrepancies, missing statements, coding issues, and exceptions for senior accounting personnel's review.

• Liaise with operators to address JIB and revenue statement inquiries and facilitate resolutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area.

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.

• Experience in oil and gas accounting is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with JIB processing, revenue accounting, or working interest accounting is greatly desirable.

• Experience in supporting U.S.-based companies remotely is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills including formulas, lookups, and reconciliations.

• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
