This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the comprehensive **order-to-cash (O2C)** processes, which encompass billing and collections, ensuring precision, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Take ownership of and enhance ASC606-compliant revenue recognition processes and workflows. Provide expert advice on the revenue implications of intricate contracts and contract modifications.
• Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to synchronize billing and revenue data with forecasts, ARR/MRR metrics, and cash flow projections.
• Establish and track **KPIs** related to billing accuracy, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and cash conversion efficiency.
• Develop and sustain systems and processes that underpin SaaS business models, including subscriptions, renewals, and usage-based pricing.
• Ensure seamless data flow between CRM (Salesforce), billing platforms (e.g., Payfac, ISO), and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• Spearhead system integrations and automation initiatives to enhance scalability, data integrity, and transparency while continuously seeking innovative solutions and challenging the status quo.
• Assess and implement financial technology tools to streamline financial reporting and operational processes.
• Design and document robust internal controls and workflows throughout financial operations.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and RevOps to facilitate growth and product portfolio expansion, optimizing contracting flow, invoicing accuracy, and collections efficiency.
• Act as a key liaison between Finance and other operational departments.
• Drive operational readiness for scaling initiatives, including new products, pricing models, and international expansion.
• Offer strategic insights on cash management, working capital, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with audit readiness and compliance initiatives.
• 8–12 years of progressive experience in **revenue and accounting operations**, including leadership roles within a SaaS or technology company.
• **CPA** or an equivalent financial management qualification.
• In-depth understanding of **SaaS business models**, including subscription billing, ARR/MRR, usage billing, and deferred revenue.
• Practical experience with **ERP and billing systems** (e.g., NetSuite SuiteBilling, Payfac, and ISO).
• Strong data analysis skills with experience handling large datasets, capable of transforming operational data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated success in leading and scaling teams and systems in a dynamic environment.
• Solid comprehension of the ASC 606 revenue standard.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and motivation.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate and forge relationships across various organizations.
• Must reside in the **Eastern or Central Timezone**.
• **Preferred**: Experience in **venture-backed or PE-backed growth environments**.
• Previous involvement in **system implementations** or **IPO readiness** projects.
