This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting closing procedures for designated areas.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses for revenue and accounts receivable related accounts.
• Oversee the complete accounts receivable processes for committed customers, which includes invoice creation, collections, maintaining customer billing portals, and reserve recommendations.
• Address customer inquiries concerning invoices, payments, taxation, and completion of invoicing prerequisites (e.g., obtaining purchase orders, completing supplier registration forms).
• Manage the order-to-cash process by reviewing contracts, synchronizing opportunities from SalesForce to Netsuite, and establishing sales orders in our accounting system to guarantee accurate revenue recognition and compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments, including but not limited to FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales, to support business processes.
• Assist in the preparation for the annual financial statement audit.
• A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with 1–3 years specifically in revenue accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Results-oriented, ensuring that weekly and monthly billing deadlines are achieved.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA certification with experience at a Big 4 firm is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Stripe, Salesforce, and FloQast is advantageous, but not required.
• Experience with usage-based or consumption-based revenue models is beneficial, but not required.
