Revenue Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the revenue closure process by preparing journal entries, conducting accounts receivable and deferred revenue reconciliations, performing AR Aging, and executing flux analyses for all revenue-related accounts.

• Oversee the complete Order-to-Cash cycle, which includes invoicing, cash application, aging, and collections, while driving the prompt resolution of overdue accounts and billing disputes.

• Identify and spearhead process enhancements throughout revenue workflows, utilizing AI to modernize accounting practices.

• Develop revenue recognition workbooks for new products and pricing models upon their launch.

• Collaborate with Sales, Post Sales, FP&A, and Legal teams to address revenue and billing inquiries, as well as to validate order forms against revenue treatment.

• Establish controls over the revenue process and serve as a primary contact for external audit requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA is a plus.

• Over 3 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, with knowledge of ASC 606 in a SaaS or technology context.

• Experience with Big 4 or public accounting firms.

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM systems, along with advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.

• Strong comprehension of internal controls and audit coordination.

• Detail-oriented self-starter who is proactive, thrives in uncertain situations, and consistently seeks to enhance processes.
