This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more states.
• Take full ownership of revenue forecasting and schedules, ensuring precise conversion of bookings, backlog, and pipeline into revenue.
• Execute and assist with revenue reconciliations, which include:
• o Deferred revenue
• o Unbilled receivables
• o Contract balances
• o Collaborate with AR on billing status, invoicing timelines, collections impact, and cash forecasting dependencies.
• Actively participate in month-end closings, year-end tasks, and audit procedures, guaranteeing that revenue data is accurate, consistent, and ready for audits.
• Examine, validate, and help shape deal structures to enhance revenue recognition and forecasting results, including:
• o Advising on commercial terms (acceptance, milestones, delivery timelines)
• o Suggesting contract language and documentation necessities
• o Identifying risks and opportunities to maximize revenue realization.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and FinanceOps teams to foresee and manage:
• o Delivery and acceptance milestones
• o Billing and invoicing progress
• o Revenue dependencies, risks, and timing implications.
• Assume responsibility for data accuracy and consistency across Salesforce, ERP (Certinia / FinancialForce), and reporting tools.
• Develop and enhance finance and revenue KPIs (forecast accuracy, backlog conversion, revenue leakage, etc.), utilizing tools like Tableau, CRMA, or similar.
• Identify and implement process and system enhancements, including automating revenue scheduling, forecasting, and reporting, with an emphasis on minimizing manual effort and reinforcing controls.
• 5–8 years of experience in Revenue Accounting within a SaaS/software setting, with proven ownership of forecasting, reconciliations, and revenue-related decision support.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS 15 (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of contract assets and liabilities.
• Experience with multi-element arrangements (software, SaaS, services, and hardware).
• Familiarity with revenue timing (delivery, acceptance, milestones).
• Practical experience with Salesforce (mandatory).
• Experience with Certinia / FinancialForce or a similar ERP (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Tableau, CRMA, or similar BI tools.
• Strong skills in Excel and data analysis.
