This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver on-site services and educational resources to the assigned client base to enhance enrollment and participation in current plans.
• Boost savings levels, retain existing participants, and improve the investment knowledge of plan participants.
• Conduct individual consultations at employer locations, engaging participants to improve their outcomes in investment education, enrollment, savings rates, outside asset acquisition, and account retention.
• Facilitate group educational presentations covering a wide range of financial and retirement topics for diverse audiences.
• Conduct Annual Plan Reviews with key decision-makers of employer-sponsored retirement plans, focusing on plan trends, investments, and educational outcomes for participants.
• Establish and sustain positive relationships with key decision-makers at the plan level, including elected officials, board members, union representatives, and C-suite executives.
• Proactively schedule, organize, and effectively promote all daily activities and on-site client visits.
• Surpass all assigned production, activity, and service-related targets.
• Accurately record all daily activities in contact management systems.
• Identify and refer new group or individual business prospects to the relevant manager.
• Represent MissionSquare at benefit fairs, conferences, and other events aimed at enhancing retirement security for public sector employees.
• Execute other duties as assigned.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services sales is highly preferred.
• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Series 65 licensing is required.
• Extensive knowledge of retirement and investment products, particularly deferred compensation defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
• Strong understanding of specific plan provisions and legislative regulations.
• Experience with IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s, 401(a)s, or DB plans.
• Proven ability to effectively market and service a geographically diverse client base.
• Direct sales experience is desirable, with a preference for candidates who have experience closing sales.
• Capability to overcome objections and resistance during sales presentations is essential.
• Excellent communication, listening, interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow directions are necessary.
• Proven ability to deliver effective group presentations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer skills, including Windows, internet, email systems, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
