Retirement Plan Specialist I – Financial Advisor/401k Participants

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of all products within the designated specialty area, including an understanding of competitive offerings and regulatory frameworks.

• Clearly articulate product options for routine inquiries to customers, ensuring they comprehend their choices; provide product recommendations accordingly.

• Assess if customers have multi-product needs and facilitate connections to other product specialists.

• Collaborate with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Possession of FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65; or FINRA Series 7 and 66 (required for approval to conduct business in all states).

• Life and Health licenses (to be obtained within 60 days of hire).

• At least one year of experience within the financial services sector.

• Fundamental understanding of financial products relevant to the assigned specialty area.

• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills to effectively engage with customers and build trust.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to recommend appropriate product solutions.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to disseminate information through phone, email, video, chat, etc.

• Competent in using MS Office applications.

• CFP and/or CRPC designation (preferred).

• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and digital financial advisory platforms (preferred).
