This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Retirement Plan Specialist offers support to Wealth Advisors, plan sponsors, administrators, and participants.
• Reporting to the Retirement Plan Manager, the Retirement Plan Specialist is tasked with assisting Wealth Advisors in plan design, preparing meeting materials, and acting as a liaison to plan providers.
• This role involves collaboration with plan providers, such as recordkeepers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and custodians, to address plan requirements.
• Prepare Fiduciary Investment Reviews (FIRs) for meetings and distribution.
• Prepare Fiduciary Plan (Design) Reviews for meetings and distribution.
• Prepare Provider Reviews for meetings and distribution.
• Engage in plan design and proposal preparation.
• Facilitate and manage plan changes, which include alterations in design, fund changes, etc.
• Onboard new clients by collaborating with the sales team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Transition clients by working with advisors to guarantee a seamless transition process.
• Address inquiries regarding the plan from plan administrators/sponsors and participants.
• Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention among plan administrators/sponsors.
• Communicate effectively with recordkeepers, Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), and custodians.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (ideally in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance-related fields).
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
• Proven experience interacting professionally and confidentially with individuals at all income levels.
• Notary designation is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and well-organized individual with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, following through on details to completion.
• Exceptional verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Technical and analytical training, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to simplify complex issues and communicate them clearly and concisely to advisors and clients.
• Results-driven individual with a track record of succeeding in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the capability to see projects through from concept to implementation.
• Proficient in RPAG, Salesforce, and the MS Office Suite.
• Must be flexible, reliable, trustworthy, and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
