This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take charge of and implement retention strategies for Mid-Large Corporate and Taft-Hartley clients.
• Identify, assess, and manage retention risks through a proactive pipeline of at-risk and due diligence relationships.
• Collaborate with Relationship Management to create sponsor-level action plans aimed at safeguarding assets, enhancing relationships, and discovering growth opportunities.
• Oversee RFI/RFP strategy, execution of responses, finalist presentations, and contract negotiations.
• Design and implement loyalty and engagement initiatives to improve client experience and mitigate systemic retention risks.
• Work alongside Relationship Management and internal partners on intricate retention strategies.
• Promote asset retention, ensure revenue stability, and enhance long-term franchise value.
• Foster client loyalty through engagement that emphasizes value.
• Build credibility as an executive-level advisor among clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the retirement plan sector.
• Familiarity with Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Non-Qualified plans.
• Proven track record in retention, sales, or relationship management within the Mid-Large retirement market.
• Demonstrated capability to lead complex negotiations and renewal cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Experience in pricing strategies and competitive analysis.
• Active and maintained Life Insurance license.
• Active and maintained Series 6 license or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
• Preferred: Extensive knowledge of ERISA regulations and plan design across DC, DB, and non-qualified plans.
• Preferred: Strong financial acumen related to pricing strategies and value-driven decision-making.
• Preferred: Proficiency in executive-level presentations, storytelling, and consultative selling.
• Preferred: Ability to influence advisors, consultants, plan sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
• Preferred: Experience in driving cross-functional collaboration in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
