Retail Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the establishment of new dealers, which includes SCS installation, product assembly, merchandising, and setting up static/motion POP displays.

• Educate new dealer staff on the fundamentals of STIHL, including assembly processes, product terminology, PDI, and sales techniques.

• Assist current dealers in expanding their businesses through re-merchandising efforts, SCS development initiatives, sales training, and fostering STIHL Champion growth.

• Engage with Construction Type National Accounts to build relationships between these accounts and STIHL.

• Deliver in-store sales and product training while aiding in the installation of SCS components and arranging STIHL products in showrooms.

• Participate in and support STIHL at regional trade shows, STIHL University training sessions, and dealer events.

• Keep CRM updates current, compile monthly field reports, provide input on store training and development, maintain records of National Account visits, and document merchandising success stories and key insights.

• Attend sales meetings, dealer training sessions, and other necessary meetings and training events.

• Carry out other assigned tasks and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience is preferred.

• Prior sales or retail experience is preferred.

• Previous experience in merchandising is preferred.

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% is required.

• Must be a self-starter capable of performing well with minimal supervision.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is necessary.

• Ability to utilize company-designated software such as OneCRM and SAP is essential.

• Strong time management and organizational skills are required.

• Familiarity with STIHL products is a must.
