This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to enhance revenue growth and extend the company's presence within U.S. retail sectors.
• Leverage CRM systems (including Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics) to oversee the sales pipeline, monitor customer interactions, maintain precise account records, and project revenue.
• Discover, pursue, and secure new retail accounts while nurturing relationships with distributors, brokers, and key industry players.
• Develop, manage, and enhance relationships with retail buyers and decision-makers to optimize sales prospects and long-term business development.
• Expand existing accounts by broadening product distribution, enhancing shelf visibility, and executing effective promotional and merchandising approaches.
• Lead business presentations and negotiate pricing, contracts, trade terms, and promotional programs to reach mutually beneficial solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, operations, and product teams to successfully launch products and retail projects.
• Work with distributors and brokers to enhance product placement, manage inventory, and execute in-store strategies.
• Keep track of market trends, competitive activities, and sales performance to pinpoint growth opportunities and create data-driven sales strategies.
• Maintain a precise sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular updates on account performance and business reviews to leadership.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, retail line reviews, trade shows, and industry events to bolster brand visibility and create new business prospects.
• Ensure accurate EDI documentation and compliance with customer and retailer specifications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling consumer packaged goods (CPG), dietary supplements, vitamins, nutraceuticals, or health & wellness products within the U.S. retail market.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new retail accounts and developing existing relationships.
• Established connections with retail buyers, distributors, or brokers are highly advantageous.
• Strong comprehension of U.S. retail distribution, merchandising, promotional planning, and category management.
• Experience with supplement retailers, pharmacies, grocery stores, mass retail, or specialty health chains.
• Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote setting.
• Willingness to travel within the United States (approximately 20–40%) for customer meetings and trade shows.
