This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the complete shopper experience at retailers in the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia.
• Manage and enhance all aspects of in-store execution to meet POS productivity objectives.
• Ensure effective brand presentation and product placement.
• Monitor product, display, and content health and functionality.
• Maintain store conditions to uphold standards.
• Supervise sell-through representatives and promoters.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to ensure shelf in-stock levels are optimal.
• Advocate for RSP in conjunction with training initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate product launches effectively.
• Handle internal Bose operations efficiently.
• Collaborate with the Bose Reseller Team to establish and achieve annual business objectives by country and reseller.
• Spearhead the creation and execution of Bose's vision for retail excellence and the strategies needed to meet that vision and business goals.
• Manage retail operations in partnership with Resellers, Bose internal stakeholders (Display Operations, Training, Supply Chain, Category Sales, Trade Marketing, etc.), and Third-Party Labor (3PL) agencies.
• Work with procurement to negotiate 3PL contracts, manage resources and planning, assess performance, and define corrective measures to meet POS productivity targets.
• Utilize Global Merchandising plans to enhance reseller in-store experiences, aligned with product lifecycle planning.
• Develop and maintain retail operations reporting and scorecards (merchandising, advocacy, training, service, POS productivity, etc.).
• Manage the budget for merchandising, service, RSP training and advocacy, and field management according to established guidelines.
• Assess the performance of all Bose retail activities and KPIs, recommending improvements to boost sell-through rates.
• Provide planning and support to ensure maximum adherence to Bose – Reseller agreements.
• Collaborate with Omnichannel Marketing to establish ROI measures for in-store investments.
• Work externally with resellers to maintain an updated portfolio of POS information, including store tiers, formats, displays and placements, and store contacts.
• Engage in Joint Business Planning to create and lead the Annual Retail Plan for key resellers to meet business expectations.
• Develop and implement an operational improvement plan focused on in-store execution activities to achieve POS productivity targets.
• Lead sell-in and sell-through initiatives for national programs with reseller staff responsible for merchandising, display, execution, and RSP training.
• Identify reseller requirements and needs to improve product launches, displays, training, and promotional execution.
• Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain to integrate Bose solutions from shelf to consumer to enhance sell-through and POS KPIs.
• Promote RSP advocacy by ensuring that all necessary supporting documents (both online and in-store), teaching aids, and communication tools are utilized to inform and educate the field sales team.
• Evaluate RSP learning through in-store execution and partner with Bose internal teams and third parties to plan and implement RSP training as required.
• Regularly visit stores, both with and without external agencies, to assess performance and encourage continuous improvement.
• Collect retailer insights to inform Bose's Global Consumer Sales plans and multi-year strategies.
• Over 7 years of demonstrable experience in UK consumer electronics retail.
• Willingness to travel (20%) outside the UK.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Nordic languages is a plus.
