This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Oversee and direct field service operations, guaranteeing safe, timely, and exceptional execution of on-site activities.
• Strategically plan and optimize field resources, which include Field Service Engineers (FSEs), tools, equipment, and manpower.
• Supervise the mobilization and demobilization of resources in line with project timelines, budgets, and resource utilization to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Offer technical and operational assistance to field teams and promptly address site-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies as well as environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) standards.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Tendering, Sales teams, and Immigration specialists to facilitate project execution.
• Establish and nurture strong customer relationships by managing communications and resolving service-related challenges.
• Identify potential project risks and execute suitable mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Ensure the timely and precise completion of site documentation, reports, and timesheets.
• Mentor and develop field personnel through performance management and ongoing learning opportunities.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Recognize additional service opportunities and assist in managing variation orders (VOs) and claims.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience supervising work teams in a similar role within the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) industry.
• Solid business acumen, including market knowledge relevant to the field and international exposure.
• General understanding of Transmission & Distribution systems.
• Familiarity with GIS, AIS+GCB, and Transformer equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations.
• Understanding of financial metrics, including costing and estimation.
• Awareness of immigration processes for cross-border operations.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when necessary.
