Site Installation Manager – HVDC, Substation Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Provide EHS support for the execution of the EHS Plan on-site in collaboration with the Site Team.

• Ensure that all Mechanical & Electrical installation tasks are conducted in compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.

• Enforce quality control measures, including the application of lessons learned, to guarantee that the Mechanical & Electrical Equipment is installed according to GEV Quality standards.

• Participate in daily coordination meetings and manage the interfaces among subcontractors.

• Prepare and coordinate the Mechanical & Electrical High Voltage Installation activities with the Site Management Team and other stakeholders, ensuring that work aligns with project schedules and procedures.

• Verify the quantities installed by the Erection subcontractor and assess the invoices.

• Assist the Site Manager by evaluating change notice proposals to determine cost implications and effects on the overall subcontract value, budget, and project forecasts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical education, ideally with a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical installation for large-scale HVDC, substation, or Power Generation projects, with a minimum of 5 years in the relevant field.

• A solid health and safety mindset that aligns with international standards, capable of identifying and halting unsafe practices.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities, with proficiency in providing clear verbal and written reports (English required).

• A proactive approach with the capability to recommend and authorize corrective actions.

• Willingness to work on construction sites.
