This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide strong leadership and management to the Retail Coverage Merchandiser/Lead Merchandiser team within your designated geographic area. This includes interviewing and hiring candidates, onboarding and training new team members, managing performance and career development, addressing conflicts and personnel issues, and offering coaching and support.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business model, client and customer expectations, and the specific details of the operational processes.
• Dedicate at least 50% of your time to in-store work to gain a complete understanding of business and project requirements.
• Oversee assigned tasks to ensure completion within deadlines and to high-quality standards. Review project details to confirm that schedules are accurate and feasible, and ensure that all supporting documentation is current and correct.
• Allocate tasks to the team and guarantee that each job receives the appropriate level of support. Monitor progress, conduct audits, address inquiries, resolve issues, manage personnel matters, and adjust resources as necessary. Ensure the timely delivery of all required materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Comprehend and enhance selling effectiveness within assigned territories. Identify training needs, desired improvements to systems and work processes, and maintain an effective balance between store set/surge tasks and retail store coverage.
• Collaborate with store personnel and your team to achieve and uphold merchandising excellence. Discuss schedules and changes, meet goals and expectations, and foster effective working relationships. Take proactive measures to notify management of any unsafe acts or conditions to prevent injuries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies among directly managed associates. This includes the proper maintenance of all company-owned equipment, accurate and timely expense reporting, and activity reporting in accordance with company guidelines.
• Communicate retail territory responsibilities to the MEI admin team to ensure accuracy in reporting systems. Utilize technology effectively and accurately, including MEI, to convey retail priorities and coverage analyses, maintaining an efficient feedback and measurement system.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• Some college education with prior management/supervisory experience, along with a minimum of 2+ years in the industry.
• Previous experience as a sales agent, in retail, customer service, or with reset responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
• Quick learner and adaptable to changing work environments.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to drive a vehicle for extended periods.
