This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Demonstrates expertise in products, services, and routine transactions to uncover opportunities for educating Customers about Bank offerings and/or directing them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partners, while ensuring a positive Customer experience.
• Requires a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the complete product suite, services, and procedures within the business area, characterized by low to moderate complexity and risk.
• Develops and maintains Customer relationships by consistently showcasing product knowledge, actively listening to Customer needs, and engaging in additional discussions to uncover any further requirements, providing solutions or partner referrals as necessary.
• Recommends products tailored to Customer needs and emphasizes product features and benefits that ultimately assist Customers during challenging times and significant life events, saving them time and money, and exceeding their expectations.
• Leverages Customer relationship management tools to proactively play a crucial role in customer assessments, identifying solutions and leading outbound sales activities focused on customer engagement.
• Independently addresses customer issues, errors, and problems, escalating them when necessary.
• Fosters working relationships with customers and articulates detailed and/or complex information effectively.
• Engages in Customer outreach, service, and advisory activities to fulfill our commitment to an unexpectedly human experience.
• Initiates discussions with customers regarding loan products and facilitates the application intake process.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Over 1 year of experience interacting with customers and/or in sales, or equivalent experience demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military service preferred.
• Previous teller experience is preferred.
• Must complete teller training upon hire to process customer transactions.
• Proven ability to engage in customer discussions while educating them on products and services is preferred.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent.
• Proven ability to schedule and prioritize work effectively.
• Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision-making and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Notary License is preferred.
