This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Back-End Workflow Management: overseeing reporting, planning, follow-ups, invoice approvals, scheduling, and shipping.
• Budgeting: Manage travel and expense (T&E) allocations, freelance funding, book travel arrangements, track return on investment (ROI), and uphold weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly retail goals for the territory.
• Reporting: Provide weekly statistics and insights through ASANA, emphasizing achievements, opportunities, competitive insights, retailer updates, and results from events and education.
• Plan & Pivot: Develop quarterly call cycle calendars and adapt them to meet market demands.
• Merch Mastery: Ensure visual merchandising standards are met in every store and report on completion or any concerns.
• Stock Scout: Oversee inventory levels to guarantee strong in-stock positions, collaborating with store and district leaders while communicating needs and concerns to key stakeholders at amika.
• Build Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with store leadership, beauty advisors, and district managers.
• Employee Management: Inspire, develop, train, upskill, and motivate freelance staff to maximize return on investment.
• Sales Driver: Meet weekly sales targets in collaboration with the freelance coordinator through in-store coaching, demonstrations, and side-by-side selling.
• Train Like a Pro: Provide education to retail staff on product knowledge and selling techniques, and secure high-level training opportunities (district, regional, round robins) with retailer leadership.
• Event Maven: Organize and manage weekly freelance store events and monthly FSC events that align with brand standards, projecting inventory stock increases for key activations.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute up to 120 miles daily (approximately 2 hours).
• Reside within the defined region, close to the majority of accounts.
• Availability to be in-store 80% of the time.
• Willingness to engage in overnight regional travel 20% of the time.
• Embody a strong 'in the house' presence.
• Proven track record of sales success in a retail environment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset with effective problem-solving abilities.
• Self-accountability, a collaborative spirit, and a desire for role evolution.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience managing multiple districts for over 2 years.
• Capability to plan, manage, and lead events or activations.
• Proficiency in computer navigation (Outlook, Teams, Word).
• Knowledge of the hair and/or beauty industry.
