Resource Triage Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Delivers consistent and prompt service to hospitals, donor families, and other transplant personnel in all potential donor scenarios.

• Aids staff in identifying challenges related to the donation process and works together to formulate a plan of action.

• Responsible for the triage of new organ referrals and gathers clinical information to assess medical suitability.

• Keeps precise records of data concerning donor referrals and recoveries.

• Consults with other Transplant Network personnel and/or the DNWest Medical Director on the evaluation of quality organ donors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or a comparable degree/diploma/certification in an allied health field.

• A California registered nurse license or certification as a Physician Assistant, or in an allied health field, is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in critical care units or at least 2 years’ experience in transplant and/or organ procurement is preferred.
