This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and implement staffing for Audit engagements, ensuring that staff skills, experience, and availability are aligned with client and engagement needs.
• Collaborate with leadership to predict resource requirements, pinpoint capacity shortfalls, and suggest optimal staffing and utilization strategies.
• Develop and improve staffing and scheduling systems to ensure real-time accuracy and visibility into team availability and resource allocation.
• Monitor project timelines and utilization, delivering analysis and actionable insights to avert bottlenecks and guarantee timely project completion.
• Proactively communicate staffing updates and scheduling modifications to leaders, engagement managers, and team members.
• Work alongside HR, Talent Development, and leadership on workforce planning, onboarding, and skill enhancement initiatives.
• Identify trends, streamline resource management procedures, and utilize data to inform operational decisions.
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Analyze data to identify trends and offer recommendations for improving utilization and overall business performance.
• At least 2 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, or project operations within public accounting, consulting, or professional services.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A solid understanding of Audit engagement lifecycles, staffing models, and operational procedures within a professional services context.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred: experience with resource management platforms such as Workday, Dayshape, CCH Axcess Workflow/XCM, or comparable systems.
