This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct title searches by verifying, reviewing, and compiling information such as geographic data, property surveys, legal descriptions, title orders, customer details, ownership histories, and physical addresses.
• Assess title orders in accordance with company standards to evaluate the title's conditions and its insurability.
• Utilize relevant title plant software to research, analyze, and evaluate essential documents for establishing ownership, appraisal roles, maps, legal descriptions, and any connections to the title.
• Create a precise and thorough title commitment in line with the company’s examining and policy protocols.
• Conduct title examination reviews of products and services delivered by title production partners.
• Oversee errors made by vendor partners and examiners, providing recommendations for corrective measures.
• Clarify the chain of title, exceptions, and requirements to both customers and managers.
• Identify title defects and develop curative solutions.
• Review surveys prepared for properties when applicable.
• Ensure proper production levels and delivery standards are maintained on a daily basis.
• At least 5 years of prior experience in title examination.
• Understanding of Texas title examination laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with Texas Title Plant Solutions.
• Excellent English language and communication abilities.
• High school diploma; college experience is advantageous.
