Residential Draftsman/Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and comprehensive home remodeling projects.

• Develop floor plans, elevations, and construction-ready drawings.

• Create intricate 3D models and photorealistic renderings to assist homeowners in visualizing their projects prior to construction.

• Aid in space planning and optimizing layouts.

• Select finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, and materials that meet client objectives and budgetary constraints.

• Prepare professional design presentations for client evaluation and approval.

• Collaborate closely with sales and production teams throughout the design phase.

• Adjust designs based on client feedback and project specifications.

• Ensure that designs are practical, feasible, and aligned with project budgets.

• Maintain organized project files and documentation.

• Facilitate a smooth transition from design to construction.

• Monitor time and work activities using Hubstaff.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in residential design, drafting, or remodeling design.

• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality 3D photorealistic renderings for residential remodeling projects.

• Strong proficiency in rendering and visualization software such as D5 Render, Twinmotion, Enscape, Revit, or similar platforms.

• Experience in developing residential floor plans, elevations, and construction-ready drawings.

• Knowledge of residential construction methods and remodeling practices.

• Strong skills in space planning and design.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

• Comfortable utilizing Hubstaff for time tracking and productivity management.

• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated remote workspace.

• Experience using Chief Architect (preferred).

• Kitchen and bath design experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with Pro Kitchen software (preferred).

• Understanding of design-build remodeling companies (preferred).

• Experience supporting U.S.-based residential construction firms (preferred).

• Knowledge of residential building plans and construction documentation (preferred).
