Resident Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Organizing tasks at customer job locations

• Diagnosing issues swiftly and effectively by utilizing technical drawings and documentation

• Collaborating across departments with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams

• Conducting routine maintenance and providing emergency services as needed

• Assessing customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint new or persistent machine performance challenges that require problem-solving and maintenance

• Engaging in continuous learning, including understanding the customer’s operational processes, packaging designs, and technical specifications

• Installing Packsize solutions and instructing others on their use and maintenance

• Performing basic clerical and administrative tasks, such as promptly reading and replying to emails, preparing and submitting expense reports, arranging travel, and writing detailed technical reports

• Communicating information and ideas clearly and productively with Packsize and customer personnel to ensure comprehension

• Being able to exchange accurate information in various situations

• Complying with all Packsize and customer safety regulations, as well as safety protocols concerning exposed moving parts and electricity

• Demonstrating a strong work ethic and effective time management abilities

• Operating machines by clearing jams, loading Z-folds, changing labels, replacing bander paper, and adding glue to the machine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong customer service orientation

• Proficient in Windows platforms

• Familiarity with and effective use of hand tools

• Understanding of mechanical systems

• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word) or Google Suite (Sheets, Docs) is advantageous, but not essential

• Associate's Degree, Vocational Training, or equivalent experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred
