Resident Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy machinery to ensure seamless operations.

• Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment.

• Travel daily to customer job sites within your designated region.

• Operate and maintain your service vehicle and tools.

• Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems effectively.

• Order parts and meticulously document service work for invoicing purposes.

• Ensure compliance with company, safety, and manufacturer standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in diesel equipment repair, including hydraulics and electrical systems.

• Proficient in reading schematics and troubleshooting intricate issues.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical abilities.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Class A CDL is preferred.

• Technical training or certifications are preferred.
