This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensure the ongoing success and value realization for enterprise customers utilizing Samsara’s Resident Consultant services.
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for the Resident Consultant team that align with Samsara’s dedication to delivering outstanding service.
• Identify and nurture the next generation of Resident Consultants at Samsara.
• Keep executives updated on progress and advocate for necessary changes.
• Lead by example, demonstrating a readiness to actively participate in the work.
• Promote, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we expand globally and open new offices.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a diverse, engaged, and high-performing team.
• 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, account management, or consulting.
• 3+ years in managerial roles, including the recruitment and retention of top talent.
• Experience managing $1M+ ACV customers.
• Background in Enterprise SaaS.
• Willingness to travel within the United States for customer meetings and events (up to 25%).
• Proven experience in structured value delivery to achieve quantifiable business results, employing a defined engagement methodology.
• Outstanding executive stakeholder management and communication skills, emotional intelligence, and prioritization given the customer VP+ engagement and internal visibility of this role, including Samsara’s C-suite.
• A demonstrated history of building trust and communicating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders from customer executives to everyday users of our solutions and internal teams such as Sales, Product and Engineering, and Finance.
• Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach.
• Ability to think broadly while executing with precision.
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates diplomacy, tact, and composure under pressure when addressing customer issues.
• Proven ability to cultivate an inclusive team environment that appreciates diverse perspectives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
