This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Designing and implementing high-fidelity simulation scenarios using tools like PeleLMeX to analyze combustion across various burner geometries.
β’ Acquiring, sustaining, and enhancing the Kynema suite of incompressible solvers.
β’ Employing advanced numerical techniques, including immersed boundary methods, to simulate complex geometries and bathymetry in flow analyses.
β’ Creating and optimizing property prediction models within computational frameworks such as FuelLib.
β’ Collaborating effectively with both internal and external partners, including industry and academic stakeholders, to further research goals and integrate new functionalities.
β’ Writing and co-authoring impactful scientific publications.
β’ Relevant PhD.
β’ Alternatively, a relevant Master's Degree accompanied by 3 or more years of experience.
β’ Or, a relevant Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of experience.
β’ Exhibits a comprehensive understanding and broad application of scientific technical procedures, principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
β’ General awareness of related disciplines.
β’ Demonstrates leadership in one or more areas of team, task, or project management responsibilities.
β’ Proven experience in project management.
