This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a leader for tasks and projects within a diverse portfolio of health policy initiatives, primarily concentrating on quality measurement.

• Assist in the creation, testing, execution, and upkeep of quality measures.

• Aid in the formulation of measure specifications.

• Define, supervise, and analyze descriptive and statistical evaluations of large, intricate datasets.

• Prepare and facilitate discussions with technical expert panels regarding measure gaps, specifications, and testing outcomes.

• Conduct a thorough review of literature that supports measure specifications.

• Assess testing outcomes against the evaluation criteria established by CMS Consensus-Based Entity.

• Consolidate feedback to formulate recommendations and enhancements for quality measures.

• Interpret the rules of the CMS quality program.

• Convey methods, findings, and implications to both technical and non-technical policy audiences.

• Write technical reports, memoranda, and documentation.

• Develop and oversee budgets in collaboration with a Project Manager, while communicating timelines, scope, and resources with clients.

• Ensure quality, precision, and consistency through QA/QC processes.

• Mentor and supervise research staff on project-related tasks and professional growth.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• Lead and contribute to the development of proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in public policy, health policy, public administration, public health, or a related field, or a Master’s degree in one of these areas with over 4 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in presenting technical content to diverse audiences and facilitating expert working groups.

• Experience in crafting and writing proposals for federal agencies.

• Background in developing, implementing, and/or modifying quality measures for federal programs.

• Familiarity with large administrative, patient-reported outcome, and survey datasets.

• Preferred, but not mandatory, exposure to CMS’s Measures Management Blueprint and Consensus-Based Entity endorsement requirements.

• Direct experience with CMS is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Capability to lead and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.

• Quick learner with the ability to take direction and work autonomously in a fast-paced setting.

• Proficient presentation, professional development delivery, and facilitation skills.

• Comfortable operating in a virtual/dispersed work environment.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
