This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and coordinate daily operations for various survey research initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation.
• Collaborate with research teams on study design, methodology, and execution.
• Create communications and outreach strategies for the study.
• Develop, program, and troubleshoot complex electronic questionnaires utilizing specialized survey software.
• Manage field operations and oversee survey administration processes.
• Establish and maintain dialing campaigns within call center software.
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions for field and telephone interviewers.
• Supervise both field and office-based research interviewers while monitoring performance standards.
• Carry out quality assurance activities for interviewers.
• Handle communications with survey respondents via email and text messaging.
• Implement strategies to enhance respondent engagement and improve response rates.
• Assist in variable creation, data cleaning, and reporting using statistical software.
• Monitor interviewer hours and oversee fielding budgets.
• Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, or a related field, with 3 years of relevant research experience; or a Master's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, or a related field with six years of equivalent survey research experience.
• Familiarity with survey research methodologies and data collection techniques.
• Proficient in statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, or R.
• Skilled in survey programming tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management capabilities.
• Experience in supervising staff and managing field operations is preferred.
• Significant experience, six years or more, in a social science discipline and conducting research is desired.
• Six or more years of experience with programmed survey conversion and testing is preferred.
• Expertise in SAS or similar programming languages, particularly SPSS or STATA, is desired.
• Ability to generate metrics and create variables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Successful completion of a background check is required for final candidates.
• A drug screen or physical examination may be required during the post-offer process.
