This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assisting in the complete lifecycle of vendor onboarding, managing contracts, tracking compliance, and overseeing vendor performance.
• Overseeing budget management, providing forecasting assistance, reconciling invoices, enhancing reporting visibility, and optimizing financial processes.
• Ensuring audit-ready documentation is maintained, supporting compliance initiatives, and guaranteeing adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Aiding in operational systems, improving workflows, identifying automation prospects, developing documentation, and designing scalable processes.
• Leading the comprehensive lifecycle of research vendors, which includes onboarding, contracting, renewals, offboarding, and ongoing relationship management.
• Facilitating the creation, review, execution, and management of vendor agreements, encompassing SOWs, MSAs, NDAs, amendments, renewals, and associated contractual procedures.
• Establishing, maintaining, and managing centralized vendor management documentation, tracking systems, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluating vendor performance using scorecards, KPIs, service-level metrics, and compliance monitoring.
• Crafting, documenting, and consistently enhancing vendor management processes, standards, and governance practices.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in operations, vendor management, procurement operations, research operations, compliance, project management, financial operations, or a similar operational role.
• Proven experience in supporting vendor onboarding, contract management, supplier oversight, compliance assessments, governance activities, and audit preparedness processes.
• Experience in managing budgets, which includes financial tracking, forecasting, invoice reconciliation, spend oversight, and operational reporting.
• A history of successfully coordinating complex cross-functional processes involving internal stakeholders, external vendors, and various business functions.
• Experience in developing, documenting, and optimizing operational workflows, governance frameworks, SOPs, and business procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to effectively coordinate and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
