📋 Description

• Delivering strategic leadership and direction for the design, implementation, and support of research and academic technology services.

• Planning, developing, and managing research computing environments, storage solutions, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and associated technical services.

• Collaborating extensively with researchers, central IT, information security, and administrative stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.

• Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, research computing, or similar technology leadership roles.

• Experience within higher education, academic medical, or research-intensive environments.

• Experience in supporting high-performance computing, research storage, cloud research environments, or advanced networking.

• Understanding of research compliance, data governance, and regulatory frameworks impacting research data and systems.

• Experience in addressing the technology needs of grant-funded research and sponsor-driven requirements.

• Supervisory or team leadership experience.

• A Master’s degree in a related field.
