Research Scout, Project Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform landscape research, conduct literature reviews, and carry out environmental scans related to civic learning, political polarization, pluralism, dialogue across differences, democratic education, Jewish education, and associated topics.

• Identify, analyze, and synthesize relevant research, frameworks, tools, case studies, and practitioner resources.

• Create annotated bibliographies, research briefs, and synthesis memos.

• Keep track of new developments, publications, and thought leadership pertinent to the Project Team.

• Organize and maintain a repository of research and supporting materials.

• Assist in the development of frameworks, case studies, discussion protocols, implementation guidance, and other resources.

• Aid in drafting, editing, citation management, and ensuring quality control of final deliverables.

• Coordinate review and feedback processes with participants and staff of the Project Team.

• Support publication, dissemination, and promotional activities for the final resource.

• Manage scheduling, agendas, participant communications, and logistics for monthly virtual Project Team meetings and planning sessions.

• Facilitate virtual meetings, including setting up Zoom, distributing resources, and following up with participants.

• Maintain project timelines, track deliverables, and assist in ensuring that milestones are achieved on time.

• Attend Project Team meetings and document detailed notes, themes, insights, and action items.

• Record educator dilemmas, case studies, resources, and examples.

• Identify trends, recurring challenges, and promising practices.

• Keep organized documentation systems and shared files for collaboration and institutional learning.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience and/or graduate-level study in research, education, pluralism, Jewish education, civic engagement, program management, facilitation, or a related area.

• Outstanding research, analytical, writing, and editing capabilities.

• Superior organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Experience in conducting literature reviews, environmental scans, or other forms of applied research.

• Proficiency in synthesizing complex information into clear, concise, and actionable written products.

• Proven experience in supporting collaborative projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience in coordinating meetings, projects, or learning communities.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Asana, Notion, and other project management tools is preferred.

• Availability to attend virtual Project Team meetings and regular staff check-ins.
