Research Outputs Editing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Assist in refining, editing, and synthesizing research outputs generated through the RE-SPHERE project.

• Review and enhance country reports, analytical summaries, policy briefs, dissemination materials, and comparative research outputs.

• Aid in converting research findings into high-quality written documents that align with the project's conceptual framework and comparative goals.

• Enhance structure, clarity, consistency, analytical quality, and accessibility while ensuring that local voices and sensitive contextual dynamics are accurately and ethically represented.

• Provide a concise editorial work plan that outlines the strategy, timeline, and priorities for reviewing and refining RE-SPHERE research outputs.

• Deliver reviewed and edited versions of research outputs produced within the project, showcasing improved clarity, coherence, structure, consistency, and academic quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in linguistics, religious studies, translation studies, or related fields.

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in a relevant discipline.

• Experience in academic writing, editing, translation, or related research activities.

• Knowledge of cultural heritage, interreligious coexistence, minority communities, or sociocultural dynamics in Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.

• Participation in academic projects, conferences, workshops, or collaborative initiatives.

• Strong analytical, editorial, and communication abilities.

• A record of publications, including academic articles, conference papers, translations, or edited works.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in English (mandatory).

• Knowledge of additional regional languages, such as Greek, Turkish, or Albanian, or languages pertinent to the program, is advantageous.
