Research Nurse Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive screening process, ensuring all pre-procedure evaluations (such as CT, echo, labs, and risk scoring) are performed accurately and punctually across all participating sites.

• Direct the scientific and operational assessment of inclusion/exclusion criteria, delivering clear and substantiated decisions regarding subject eligibility in accordance with the protocol and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with investigators, coordinators, and field teams to enhance screening performance, address obstacles, and guarantee consistent enforcement of screening criteria.

• Work alongside cardiologists, study coordinators, and clinical teams to prioritize potential participants effectively.

• Offer clinical insights to aid in case planning and discussions on feasibility.

• Ensure adherence to GCP, FDA regulations, and trial protocols throughout all screening activities.

• Conduct live screening meetings to review cases and discuss trends in patient eligibility.

• Guarantee the completeness, accuracy, and protocol compliance of all data related to screening; identify trends, gaps, and risks that necessitate corrective measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure, meeting Directive 2005/36/EC training standards.

• At least 10 years of hands-on cardiovascular nursing experience, ideally in CCU, CICU, or structural heart programs.

• Documented experience in patient assessment, heart failure management, and critical care.

• Strong comprehension of cardiology terminology and trial endpoints.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional teamwork.

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.

• Familiar with EU hospital systems and screening workflows.
